On April 2, the Shaanxi Commerce Bureau organized over 200 export companies in Baoji to provide a detailed introduction to the export license for dual-use items. They also answered questions raised by some companies on-site, helping them to understand better which titanium rods can be exported and which cannot.

According to the dual-use item export license regulations, titanium rods that meet both of the following conditions require an export license:

A diameter greater than 75mm

A tensile strength greater than 900 MPa at room temperature (20°C)

Based on the relevant provisions of the national standard for titanium rods (GB/T 6925), we can draw the following conclusions:

Pure titanium rods (GR1, GR2) and titanium alloy rods (GR7, GR12) can be exported.

GR5 titanium rods with a diameter greater than 75mm cannot be exported, while those with a diameter of 75mm or less can be exported. Similarly, high-strength titanium rods, such as TC6, TC11, and TC18, are theoretically exportable as long as their diameter does not exceed 75 mm. However, whether they can be shipped remains to be verified.
