Gr5 refers to titanium alloy, Gr5 and TC4 are the same material, but the names of different countries.

The microstructure is different under different cooling rates, such as water quenching (WQ), air cooling (AC), needle α+β phase and original β phase grain boundary, and furnace cooling (FC), strip α+β phase and original β phase grain boundary.

TC4 titanium alloy is one of the most used titanium alloys at present, because tc4 titanium alloy has high strength and good corrosion resistance, but the foreign seamless tube market rarely sees titanium tubes of this material
The main reason for this situation is that TC4 titanium alloy has high strength and is difficult to form in cold rolling. In order to solve the key technology of TC4 seamless pipe cold rolling forming, a series of researches have been carried out jointly by the university and enterprise.
