Titanium pipe coil production process
The titanium pipe coil production process is as follows:
First, the titanium tube undergoes retesting, including pressure testing, mechanical performance testing, and tensile testing. After passing the retest, the straight pipe is welded into a single piece with a length approximately three times the unfolded circumference. One end of the long tube is fixed onto the mold, supported with a fixed wheel, and then wound using a coil machine. The coiled titanium tube must be bundled and secured before being welded onto the bracket. After welding, the coil undergoes pressurization and penetration testing. Additionally, non-destructive testing and photographic documentation can be performed according to customer requirements. Once the inspection is passed, the coils are packaged and stored.
Application Scope of Titanium Coils
Titanium coils are widely used in industries such as chemicals, petroleum, metallurgy, power generation, seawater desalination, chlor-alkali, and salt production. They are also utilized in the production of titanium dioxide, glycine, nitroaminophenol, pesticides, fuel chemicals, pesticide intermediates, cyanuric acid, dichlorocyanuric acid, and trichlorocyanuric acid.
