Gr2 Titanium Plate

Gr2 Titanium Plate has an oxide film on its surface that acts as an excellent wear-resistant separating agent. The use of titanium plates eliminates the need for additional separating agents, making it easier to peel off the deposited material and avoiding the pre-processing steps required for other plates. Additionally, the titanium plate is half the weight of a copper plate.

The service life of a Gr2 Titanium Plate is more than three times that of a copper seed plate, lasting up to 10 to 20 years depending on operating conditions. Electrolytic copper produced using a titanium seed plate has a compact crystal structure, a smooth surface, and excellent quality.

Since Gr2 Titanium Plate does not require the application of a separating agent, it prevents contamination of the copper electrolyte, enhances production capacity, and reduces the cost of electrolytic copper production, resulting in better economic benefits. Gr2 Titanium Plate is highly valuable in industrial applications.

Annealing: A heat treatment process in which metals are slowly heated to a specific temperature, held at that temperature for a sufficient time, and then cooled at a controlled rate (usually slow cooling, though sometimes controlled cooling is used).

Pickling: The process of immersing a product in an aqueous solution, such as sulfuric acid, to remove a thin film-such as an oxide layer-from the metal surface. It serves as a pretreatment or intermediate treatment in processes such as electroplating, enameling, and rolling.
