Products Description
The manufacturing process of titanium alloy GR5 tube is different from that of ordinary titanium alloy pipe. Ordinary titanium pipe and GR9 titanium tubes are made from tube blanks through the cold rolling process of a rolling mill. They have the characteristics of high material production, low cost, and affordable price. However, GR5 titanium tubes and TC11 and TC18 titanium tubes cannot be rolled by a rolling mill due to their high strength and hardness. Usually, titanium rods are processed into finished products through drilling, internal drilling, and external machining. The processing cost is high, and the price is sold by piece, not by kilogram. However, bulk 6al-4v titanium tubes can be produced through hot rolling process.
