Grade 4 Titanium Plate

Grade 4 titanium plates are mainly used for plate heat exchangers and medical orthopedic implant plates.Gr4 titanium alloy is an alpha type titanium alloy that exists in an alpha single-phase state at room temperature and operating temperature, and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment (annealing is the only form of heat treatment). It mainly relies on solid solution strengthening. Gr4 has slightly higher tensile strength than industrial pure titanium and can be used as a structural material in the medium strength range. Mainly used as welding wire domestically, it is more commonly used in the high-end electroplating hanging industry abroad.

The room temperature strength of TA4 titanium is generally lower than that of β '>type and α+β type titanium alloys (but higher than industrial pure titanium), while its strength and creep strength at high temperatures (500-600 ℃) are the highest among the three types of titanium alloys; And the organization is stable, with good oxidation resistance and welding performance, good corrosion resistance and machinability, but low plasticity (still good thermoplasticity) and poor room temperature stamping performance. The most widely used one is TA7, which has moderate strength and sufficient plasticity in annealed state, good weldability, and can be used below 500 ℃; When the content of interstitial impurity elements (oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, etc.) is extremely low, it still has good toughness and comprehensive mechanical properties at ultra-low temperatures, making it one of the excellent ultra-low temperature alloys.
