The main difference between pure titanium plates and composite titanium plates is their composition and use.
Pure titanium plates are made of a single element (titanium dioxide), also known as the "glassy" metal, with a high purity. This titanium plate has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance to stress erosion rupture performance, so it is widely used in high temperature and high pressure vessels in the petrochemical industry, as well as in the Marine environment of oil platforms, drilling platforms, storage tanks, etc., as the lining material of equipment or as a anti-corrosion coating.
The composite titanium plate is a special stainless steel plate composed of two or more elements. These elements may include aluminum as well as other metallic elements such as molybdenum and niobium, and are therefore also referred to as compound steel or mo-aiioy or nicralloy. Because of its special alloy composition, the composite titanium plate has unique physical and chemical properties, which can meet some special application requirements.
In general, pure titanium plates and composite titanium plates are different in composition, performance and application, and need to be selected according to the specific use environment and needs.
